Spicy Shrimp Tacos
I think when we invented our Hot Sauces we had tacos in mind. Mezcal & Red Chile Hot Sauce, Tequila & Green Chile Hot Sauce, let us introduce you to Shrimp Tacos.
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails removed
- 8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
- 1 red chile pepper, diced
- Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1oz, unsalted butter
- 2 avocados, chopped
- Lime wedges
- Mexican cheese
- Spirit & Co.'s Tequila & Green Chile Hot Sauce
- Spirit & Co.'s Mezcal & Red Chile Hot Sauce
Take 1oz unsalted butter and melt it over medium heat in a frying pan. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked. Set aside.
Warm your tortillas. A quick flash on a hot grill works well and gives a nice char effect.
In each tortilla place a handful of fresh romaine lettuce, some chopped avocado, a dash of cheese, and a red chile pepper or two.
Top your tacos with one of Spirit & Co.'s Hot Sauces and a refreshing squeeze of fresh lime.
